MTV Movie Blog has reported that Anaconda 3 is indeed slithering closer and closer to release and standing shoulder to shoulder with the slitherings this time are the likes of David Hasselhoff and John Rhys-Davies.
The plot follows a mercenary who joins a team to capture a dangerous anaconda when it escapes from a top secret lab. It is revealed that the anaconda has been modified with an immortality drug, which makes it more vicious, intelligent and dangerous. More so, this sneaky reptile is about to give birth to a lot many more like it and must stopped at all cost!
A shame though that this movie is a Direct to DVD release slated for October 21 this year. However, it has already been aired on the SCI FI channel on July 26.
From what I have heard and read about the movie, there are poor CGI efforts behind the two anacondas but there is some solace to be found with the presence of the hot PhD and snake expert Crystal Allen, who accoding to one commentator, is a smoking hot blonde and spends almost the entire movie in a tight, form-fitting tank top (see poster).

The snakes lost their charm after the first movie. Maybe it was JLo’s presence that made the movie worth watching in the first place. Only thing I ever liked about the sequel was the seen in the water where the humans are ambushed. That was wild but it sucked on the whole though. Anaconda 3? I’ll pass, thanks!
